i can't even x-post because some of the stuff is from italy and its against the ths rules LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
anyway, i am back from italy and a week away from uni so here's what i've bought since i vowed to stop spending (i have done v. well imo)

(thats what i ACTUALLY look like. look at my chin. yes.)

EDIT! i reaaaally want some flat black or brown lace up granny/victorian style boots. i tried some on in absolute vintage on saturday which were perfect but they were too small =[[[[ WOOOOE
has anyone seen any for maybe £50 at the most? i'm tried ebay and topshop etc but no luck

last picture with the pink tinge, promise. this is the only picture i could find of me in my new boots and they look shitty so... uh... whatever.

from a trade on tsuk. they are flat and tan and easy and although loads of people have similar i'm not too bothered because they're nice to just shove on. they have this weird split at the back which is really cute and looks awesome if you have socks on like in my picture. i am bad at explaining things but its sort of the same shape as a cowboy boot? you know? no? oh well.

ooooh man. this jumper. £2.99 from a charity shop near me. a really awesome charity shop that i just discovered as i am about to move away. what the hell is wrong with me. anyway, originally from marks and spencers yonks ago (its says st micheal in the label, looooool). worn with the black beret from primark which everyone has (£3?), h&m jeans and stag necklace.

italy stuff:

seriously the most amazing tights ever. i saw this brand (emilio cavallini) in topshop oxford circus a while ago and didn't really want to shell out £12 or whatever it was for a pair. however, in florence they had them in thsi department store and i decided to invest in a sturdy black ribbed pair. they are seriously SO thick, they will never rip and will probably last me about 10 years. 15euros from coin.

most amazing socks! 7euros i think from this socks and tights shop called calzedoniawhich we saw everywhere. they are perfect, bellow knee, super stretchy, gold, glitter crochet! aaaah.

gratuitously posey outfit shot because i want everyone to be jealous of my socks. plus new black primark v necked cardi that i really needed so had to get, £5. doesn't feel that great and the sizing in terrible. i bought a 10 and the bottom 3 buttons still won't do up around my hips...
also! new vintage black leather belt with amazing gold buckle which i bought off tsuk for about a fiver. looks awesome with jeans and as a waist belt which i am super pleased about.
annnd primark check skirt which i altered into a high waist pencil wiggle skirt that i can't get on the bus in (due to the step and the narrowness of the skirt). oh and new look wedges (£20)

pure silk scarf from market in florence, 15euros. really worth it, the detail is amazing and its also sort of embossed. also a really rare colour, yay for lime green!

here it is in its FULL glory. its ridiculous. i am so happy about the key design. it will match my new tattoo and i will look like a right nob.

Your best bet is to scout around charity shops for shoes like that, that's where both myself and my best friend have found pairs.

I just bought socks like that too! But at the last minute I opted to get the ones sans glitter.

aah thank you, can i see a photo of yours?
where did you get your socks from?

Mine have a bit of a heel, so they are not entirely what you are looking for, but still:

Eleanor's are flat and brown and are utterly amazing - she bought them from a thift store while we were in Virginia and I was cursing myself for not venturing over to the shoe section before her. Hers are plain though, they don't have the tooled leather bits that mine do, which makes them more Victorian-esq in my mind - I need to make excuses for not getting them!

What size feet do you have? If you don't mind me asking. I'm going charity shopping this week so I can always look out for you.

And my socks are from Forever21, in hindsight I should have bought the glitter ones too they were only $5, but when you're out there it still hard to comprehend the true value of the exchange rate, so $5 still feels like £5.

Woo, didn't expect them to be that big! Sorry!

Also 'it still hard' should be 'it is hard'.

those are sooooo good, i don't mind a small heel like that, probably makes me a bit more comfy.
i'm a size 5 but don't worry, i'm very picky and i have to try everything on, but thanks so much for offering.

Plus a slight heel makes your legs look that bit longer and slender, which I think is desirable when you're wearing ankle boots.

It's no problem, I love charity shopping whether it's for me or anyone else! If I see anything nice though, I'll take a photo for you, as Pinner is so sleepy they won't be snapped up quickly.
